RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ALBUM COVER
This is a project I made in the fall of 2022.
The prompt was to create a custom album concept/cover for a chosen musical artist. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of my favorite bands, so I decided to choose them for my work.
This album is complete with 10 of the Chili Peppers' most popular hits throughout the years. It is filled with the contemporary funk-pop groove that they are known so well for. The album brings fans through the wild lives of the band members, sharing their experiences with drug abuse, mental health, the intricacies of human nature, and dealing with the struggles of fame.
The name Cupid & Psyche was inspired by the Greek story based on these characters. The story follows the life of star-crossed lovers who continue to overcome many hurdles in pursuit of each other. The persistence, desire, and pain involved in searching for something that was right in front of them the whole time is resemblant of common themes in the Chili Peppers music, which made it the perfect reference for this album in my eyes.

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN MAGAZINE
This is a project I made in the fall of 2022.
The prompt was to create a magazine on a selected social campaign. I decided to go with the topic of freedom of speech within the scientific community. I wanted to create this because I believe in the importance of freedom of speech, and I do not believe anyone should be silenced. More than ever, in a community like the scientific one that has such an impact on society, no ideas or theories should be shut down based off of personal vendetas or preferences. My goal was to create a space to educate people on this topic and provide a safe place to support free discussion.
The articles published in the magazine are properly cited from various professional journalists.
All aspects of design including photographs and illustrations are my own.

PROCESS WORK
This is a project I made in the fall of 2023.
The prompt was to create a fashion magazine based off of a chosen film. This magazine is inspired by the show "Demon Slayer" by Koyoharu Gotouge. It is a Japanese anime about swordsmen who fight to defend their world from demons. I was inspired throughout this process by the show itself as well as contemporary Japanese art and publication design. An emphasis on negative space and organic shapes were two things I drew from this inspiration.

FASHION MAGAZINE
DAYGLOW TOUR POSTER
This is a project I made in the fall of 2023.
The prompt was to create a tour poster incorporating photography for a chosen musical artist/band. I worked on this project in collaboration with one of my classmates. We chose the band Dayglow and created a tour concept based off of the ups and downs that are an inevitable part of being in a relationship with a loved one. Dayglow's music tends to have a whimsical, lively, and uplifting tone, which helped inspire our chosen concept.

PROCESS VIDEO
POINT OF VIEW - ANIMATED INVITE
This is a project I worked on in the fall of 2024.
My senior studio class hosted a public show where we each displayed some of the work we'd made in our first three years. The theme of the show was 'POV,' chosen to represent the many different paths we all took to get to our senior year.
This is an animated invite I created that was displayed on social media as well as tv screens throughout the campus in order to get the word out about the show.

OASIS CUSTOM TYPEFACE
This is a project I made in the fall of 2022.
The prompt was to create a custom original typeface. Through research and ideation I decided to create this font based on ancient typography and lettering. I spent a lot of time looking into different letterform styles throughout ancient history. This typeface was specifically inspired by ancient Arabic letterforms. Extreme contrasts in line width, expressive serifs, and sharp edges are some of the details that were drawn from the inspiration. My goal was to create a fun and modern type with a clear inspiration from the past.
